Glen Robert "Bob" Fivecoate, 71, of Kokomo, passed away at 4:14 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital.

He was born Nov. 11, 1938, in Miami County to Mildred (Mills) and Ira Glen Fivecoate.

On Nov. 21, 1961, in Kokomo, Bob married Shirley (Beauchamp) Fivecoate. She preceded him in death on Aug. 13, 2001.

He worked for American Standard Pottery for 14 years and retired in 1981. Bob went on to driving a school bus for Kokomo Center School Corporation. After that time, Bob decided to continue working for the City of Kokomo for 12 years and retired in 2002.

He was a member of Trinity Holiness Chapel, located in Lincoln, Indiana, enjoyed attending activities at the Kokomo Senior Citizens Center and was a proud supporter of the Disabled American Veterans.

Bob enjoyed fishing, traveling and being with his family.

He is survived by one daughter, Corenna Richards and her husband David, of Kokomo; two sons, Noland Fivecoate and his wife Tresha of Ohio, Robert Fivecoate, of Kokomo, grandchildren include, Shamineka Pearson, Jeremiah Richards, Dalen Richards, Tia McKay, Austin Fivecoate, Mickaela Fivecoate and Michael Fivecoate; four great-grandchildren survive with one due in November; sister-in-laws include, Barbara Kendall and Lela Starkey-Miller, one brother, David Fivecoate of Ft. Wayne, two sisters, Shirley Fivecoate of Kokomo and Linda Persinger of Kokomo.

Along with his wife, Bob is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, at the Trinity Holiness Chapel, located at 10111 Lincoln Walnut St., Lincoln, Indiana 46944. Officiating will be Pastor David Perry. Burial rites will follow at Albright Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, at Shirley and Stout Funeral Home, Jefferson St. Chapel, 414 W. Jefferson St. and 1 hour prior to the funeral at the church on Thursday.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Bob, to the Kokomo Senior Citizen Center or to the church with envelopes available.
