The Lady Kats hosted Taylor and Eastern last night. Taylor came with only three golfers and Eastern brought its whole crew.
The teams played the back nine at the Kokomo Country Club for the first time this season. Due to only getting to play that side maybe once a season, it was like playing a new course, according to coaches. The Lady Kats came out on top, scoring a team score of 182 to Eastern’s 222 and Taylor’s incomplete team score. The Lady Kats now have a record of 5-0 on nine-hole matches.
Kiah Parrott kept up her hot play by scoring a 1-under 34 to take medalist. Molly Mavrick kept up good play up and scored a 44. Haley Salinas and Elizabeth Lytle both came in with a 52.
The other four scores were used for a JV score. The JV won 239-258. Layla Andrysiak had a 52. Emma Hawkins had a 60. Emily Fuller had a 63. Kamryn Hahn had a 64.
The Lady Kats will take on Western Boone this Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
