Congratulations Western band
Western Marching Panthers and Color Guard competed in the 2019 Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) Marching Band State Championship on Saturday, Nov. 9. The championship was held at Lucas Oil Stadium where they placed first overall and brought home the state championship trophy.
After placing second last year, the Marching Panthers and Color Guard devoted the past seven months toward perfecting its performance and has reaped the benefits of its hard work by placing first in state this year.
This marks Western's ninth Class C state championship and 17th state championship overall.
The Marching Panthers was directed by Brian Caldwell.
