Thomas M. “Tom” Williams 70, Kokomo, passed away Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at the Emergency Room at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born Dec. 27, 1942, in Carroll County to Harold Courtland Williams and Marda Gene (Towe) Catron. When Tom was 2 years old, his father was killed in World War II. His mother later married Melancthon “Lank” Catron, who raised him. Tom married Jo Ellen “Jody” Lambert, who survives.

Tom was a 1961 graduate of Western High School and attended Ball State University. He worked for Kingston Products in sales and retired after 28 years. He was a member of Martin Guitar Club, was a music enthusiast, and loved the guitar, banjo and steel guitar.

Survivors include former wife and mother to the children, Jacquelyn (Farwick) Williams, Kokomo; children, Phillip (Tarah) Williams, Kokomo, Michelle (Darin) Hollingsworth, Kokomo, Nicole Williams and Mike (Alison) Williams, Russiaville; stepchildren, Alicia Niksch, Westfield, Andrew Yates, Albion; grandchildren, Jeremy Williams, Ryan (Katie) Williams, Meghan (Graham) Oster, Katie Hollingsworth, Kaleb Hollingsworth, Ella Davis, Emma Davis, David Shepard, Kimberly Williams and Lillian Williams; stepgrandchildren, Maecey Niksch, Jenna Niksch, Lola Niksch, Oliva Yates, Madison Yates, Drew Yates, Xavier Yates and Ethan Yates; great-grandson, Jacob Williams; and brother, Dudley (Cathy) Catron.

She was preceded in death by his parents; sister; and brother-in-law, Trudy (Gerald) Hood.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Steve Cole officiating the service. Burial will follow in Burlington Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
