Stanlee E. Weller, 69, Kokomo and formerly of Brookville, passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, at her residence. She was born Sept. 21, 1943, to Stanley G. and Marilyn Woodmansee White in Connersville. Stanlee married Henry “Butch” Weller on Aug. 29, 1969, at Brookville United Methodist Church.
She retired from the rail industry after serving many years as a collections manager. Stanlee was a member and past president of the Delta Theta Tau Sorority and served as treasurer of the Railroad Passenger Car Alliance. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and enjoyed quilting and playing cards, especially bridge.
Those surviving who will honor Stanlee’s memory include her loving husband of over 43 years, Henry “Butch” Weller; daughters, Mari (Lawrence) Schuman, St. Leon, and Dawn (Jon) Webster, Kokomo; son, Tony Price (special friend, Raejean Ripperger), Indianapolis; six grandchildren; and brother, David (Paula) White, Brookville. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for friends and family will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday at Cook Funeral Home, 929 Main St., Brookville. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
