Desiree Dawn Hahn-Thatcher, 39, Kokomo, passed away at 11:40 am Saturday, July 13, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. She was born April 30, 1980, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Lloyd Calvin Jr. & Rebecca Lillian (Guffey) Hahn. On June 3, 2011, she married Jonah William Thatcher and he survives.
Desiree was a life member of the Cicero VFW Auxiliary Post 8756, and was an avid Poker, Euchre, and Bingo player. Desiree enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her daughter, Destiny Rose who was her world.
Along with her husband Jonah, Desiree is survived by her daughter, Destiny Rose Thatcher; mother, Rebecca Hahn; sister, Dorothy Hahn-Morris; 2 half-brothers, 2 half-sisters; mother-in-law, Elnora Davis; 5 aunts, and 1 uncle; her favorite aunt, Laura (Charlie) Clouser, along with many great aunts, uncles and cousins.
Desiree was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Hahn Jr.; grandmother, Dorothy Brown; uncle, Billy Ray Guffey; step-grandparents, Flo & Frank Guffey; father-in-law, Samuel Dean Thatcher; and brother-in-law, Richard Morris.
A celebration of life will be held on July 24, 2015, at the VFW Post 1152, 920 N. Washington Street, Kokomo, from 5-6:30 pm. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory assisted with cremation.
