On March 14, investigators of the Drug Task Force responded to a complaint from the Howard County Adult Probation. Investigators went to 1205 South Elizabeth Street, residence of Deanna M. Jones. A juvenile was also found to be residing at the address. Subsequent investigation revealed an illegal drug lab and items for the manufacturing methamphetamine were found. Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Team assisted with the dismantling and processing of the methamphetamine lab.
Deanna M. Jones, age 41 was arrested for Manufacturing Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony, Illegal Drug Lab, a Class D Felony, Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class D Felony, and Child Neglect, a Class D Felony.
Jones was transported to the Howard County Criminal Justice Center with no injuries reported. Child Protection Services responded to assist with the juvenile.
