With a tornado sighted in Howard County, sheriff Marty Talbert gave an update on the situation:

"These photos show a damaged home located three miles east of Kokomo, Ind.," said Talbert. "Two eye witnesses reported seeing a dark cloud envelope the home. No injuries reported. Several trees and poles in the area downed, and the City of Kokomo has been without power."

This Afternoon: Occasional showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 2pm, then a chance of showers. Steady temperature around 60. Breezy, with a west southwest wind between 26 and 29 mph, with gusts as high as 49 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tonight: A 30 percent chance of showers before 8pm. Mostly clear, with a low around 45. Breezy, with a southwest wind between 13 and 21 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.
