The first half of the 2011 Howard County Fair Queen Pageant took place yesterday night after initially being delayed due to severe weather.

Thirteen contestants competed in the active wear competition.

Awards were given to Miss Active Sportswear and Miss Personality. Brin'na Rollins was awarded Miss Active Sportswear, and Beth Miller took home a sash and bouquet for winning Miss Personality.

Tonight, the pageant will continue with the evening wear competition at 8 p.m. at the South Grandstand sponsored by Howard Regional. The pageant will conclude with the crowning of Miss Howard County Fair Queen.
