Donald Luckey Jr.
Donald Lee Luckey Jr, 64, of West Middleton, passed away at 5:17 PM Monday September 11, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital, Kokomo. Born July 7, 1953 in Kokomo, he was the son of the late Donald Lee Luckey and Nancy (Ryker) Luckey. He was a 1971 graduate of Haworth High School. He was a veteran who served in the United States Army. He was employed with Delco Electronics, retiring in 2004 after 30 years of service. He was a member of U.A.W. Local #292 and Family Worship Center. He was an Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers fan. He loved to fix up old bicycles and give them to the kids in the neighborhood. He enjoyed doing crosswords, going to church, reading his bible, and playing with his grandkids. 
Memorials may be directed to the Family Worship Center or to the Rescue Mission of Kokomo. Envelopes will be available at the church.

Willie Alexander
Willie “Ruth” Alexander, 84, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at North Woods Village in Kokomo. She was born on December 29, 1932 in Port Gibson, Mississippi to the late James Alexander and Mary (Martin) Eddington.
Following high school, Ruth spent some time living in New York and Boston, and then moved to Kokomo to work at her mother’s restaurant, Mary’s Café. After working for her mother’s business, Ruth found work at Chrysler and was employed there for over 25 years before retiring in December of 1998.

Frieda Grabbe
Frieda L. Grabbe, 93, of Kokomo formerly of Walton, went home to be with the Lord at 2:00 a.m. Sunday, September 10, 2017 at The Wellington in Kokomo. She was born December 13, 1923 in Sullivan County Indiana to Edward and Myrtle (Gore) Elwood. She married Elmer E. Grabbe on June 28, 1941 in Caledonia, Michigan and he preceded her in death on February 15, 2001.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Reflections at the Wellington in Kokomo or Bible Baptist Church. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to all the staff at Reflections at the Wellington for their excellent care of Frieda. Alfred Howery
Alfred E. Howery, 87 of Tipton died at 5:43 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on November 4, 1929 in Goodrich, Kansas to Harley & Ruth (Wurtz) Howery. On October 19, 1952 he married Reba A. Ragan and she survives.
Alfred started working at Oakes Manufacturing in Tipton in 1947. He left Oakes in 1962 to start working at Delco Radio in Kokomo, retiring from there in 1993. Alfred graduated class of 1947 from Parker Rural High School in Parker, Kansas and was a member of the U.A.W. Local 292.

Johnny Graham
Johnny Junior Graham, 92, of Kokomo, passed away at 5:09 PM Friday September 8, 2017 at his residence. Born May 20, 1925 in Carroll County, he was the son of the late Jesse Graham and Eva (Smith) Graham. On April 3, 1948 in Carroll County, he married Waneta Leann (Britton), and she survives. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. He was employed with Chrysler Corporation for over 30 years, retiring in 1979.

Jim MIles
Jim L. Miles, 79, of Cutler passed away at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at his home. He was born on June 20, 1938 in Henry County, Indiana to Louis and Dorothy (Abshire) Brown. On November 4, 1961 to Jacqueline Saunders in Albany, IN and she survives.

Martin Moeller
Martin Richard “Dick” Moeller, 84, Kokomo, passed away at 1:10 pm Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at his home. He was born October 24, 1932, in Tipton County, the son of the late Martin Herman & Velma Ruth (Beaty) Moeller. On June 5, 1954, at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Tipton, he married Florence Doversberger and she survives. 
Dick was a 1950 graduate of Western High School. He was owner and operator of Dick Moeller Trucking & Excavating, hauling many loads of stone, sod, and aggregate for homes and businesses. He also served as dump truck hauler for Martin Marietta, and served 23 years with Yeoman Stone Quarry.

Shane Schaeffer
Shane Michael Schaeffer, 34, Burlington, passed away at 9:48 a.m. Thursday, September 14, 2017, in the emergency room at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. He was born May 9, 1983, in Howard County, to Byron K. and Anita S. (Jackson) Schaeffer. 
Shane graduated from Carroll High School in 2001. He worked for Kokomo Auto Supply for several years, for NAPA Automotive Parts in Flora and was also a seller at the Booster Club of Kokomo Bingo for several years. He was an avid music fan and loved going to concerts.

Joyce Huston
Joyce Violet Huston, 83, passed peacefully from this life on September 13th, 2017, surrounded by her family.

Joyce came into this world, on September 22nd, 1933, born to Arthur and Violet Bruening in Skokie, Illinois. She graduated from Indiana University in 1956 with a degree in Biology. On August 1st, 1959, she married the love of her life David R. Huston, who preceded her in death on June 21st, 1997. Joyce is now re-united with her husband in a heavenly home where pain and suffering are no more.

Chasity Saunders
Chasity Saunders, 33, passed from this life on Sept. 8, 2017. Chasity died in intensive care at Community Hospital North, Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born Aug. 4, 1984, in Kokomo, to Margie D. Livingston.
Chasity graduated from Lighthouse Christian School in 2003. She worked at Meijers for nine years. She left behind two children, son, Delano J. Chaney, and daughter, Chloe D. Saunders.
She is survived by her mother, Margie D. Livingston; two brothers, Shane A. A. Saunders, Graham J. J. Saunders; nephews and nieces, Graham J. J. Saunders Jr., Joshua R. Saunders, Janesa N. Saunders, Sophia E. Saunders, Bella G. Saunders, Mackenzie S. Saunders.
Chas loved life and most of all loved her two children.

Shirley Hancock-Suns, 60, of Francesville, Indiana passed away September 13, 2017. She was born in Kokomo, Indiana to John and Maxine (Burton) Hancock on September 25, 1956.
She worked for several years at Crane Hill Machine in Seymour, Indiana, where she was the first female machinist on the line. After she moved to Logansport, Shirley was employed at RBM as a factory worker.

David Eller
David B. Eller, 93, of Plainfield, and formerly of Kokomo, transitioned into eternal life at 1:48 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2017, at Cumberland Trace Healthcare in Plainfield. He was born on December 22, 1923, in Ervin Township, Howard County, to Charley A. and Faye (Brubaker) Eller. On February 2, 1964, he married Jane Carol Dow, and she survives. 
David graduated from Ervin High School in 1942, where he was a varsity basketball player for three years. He was a farmer all of his life and a partner in Eller Grain Enterprises. He was also a substitute mail carrier and school bus driver.

Donald Thomas
Donald G. Thomas, 82, of Brownsburg, Indiana, and formerly of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away at 9:14 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2017, at Brownsburg Meadows Healthcare surrounded by family. He was born, the son of John Edward and Iris (Lofton) Thomas, Sr., on January 6, 1935, at home in a four room house in the Hebron Community of Crittenden County, Kentucky. On July 4, 1953, he married Velma “Louise” King, in the Marion United Methodist Church, in Marion, Kentucky, and she survives.
Don went on to become owner of the Howard County Equipment Company in Kokomo, Indiana, a John Deere dealership, from 1962 to 1982. He also sold commercial real estate for Dorothy Edwards Realtors from 1983 to 1989 and worked in public relations for Kirby Risk Supply until his retirement in 1999.

Lewis Walker
Lewis Walker, 86 of Tipton died at 11:52 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2017 at his residence. He was born on February 11, 1931 in Celina, Tennessee to Clure Van & Molly Bell (Reecer) Walker. He had lived in Celina for 19 years and Arcadia for four years before moving to Tipton. Lewis married Dora Lee Brown on April 16, 1949 and she survives.
Lewis had worked at Steel Parts in Tipton and was a farmer. He was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed racing, farming and being with his friends and family.

Kathleen King
Kathleen A. King, 91 of Tipton died at 11:26 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Tipton. She was born in Bono, Arkansas on November 3, 1925 to William J. and Sophe (Craig) Barnes.
Kathleen had worked at Delco Radio in assembly, was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and loved gardening and animals.

Reba Herron
Reba Herron, 85, of Kokomo, formerly of Galveston, died at 7:30 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 at Kokomo Place Assisted Living Center in Kokomo. She was born January 28, 1932 in Luttrell, TN to Fred and Nettie (Seymore) Dukes.
Reba worked for Cuneo Press in Kokomo for several years. She enjoyed crochet and quilting.

Lola Dellinger
Lola May (Landon) Dellinger, age 95, of Ellenton, Florida passed away on September 13, 2017 at Riviera Palms Rehabilitation Center in Palmetto, Florida. Lola was born on January 26, 1922 to Norman and Myrtle (Cline) Landon. On May 27, 1949 she was married to Francis Dellinger in Silver Lake, IN by the Rev. Kenny Craft, and they had celebrated 64 years of marriage together.

Harriet Manlove
Harriet A. Manlove, age 94, passed away on September 13, 2017 at Hospice of the Valley Eckxstine Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was born in Elwood, Indiana on December 31, 1922 to James and Florence (Armstrong) DeLawter. Harriet was married George Manlove on June 2, 1945 and he preceded her in death on July 13, 2012. They had been married 67 years.
Harriet was a 1941 graduate of Elwood High School, and attended Marion College (now Indiana Wesleyan University). She was the Children’s Librarian at the Tipton County Library from 1972 until 1986, and was a member of Tipton Trinity Wesleyan Church.

Larry Langley
Larry Lee Langley, 80, Elwood, passed away at 12:45 am Monday September 18, 2017, at Community Parkview Health & Living in Elwood. He was born July 5, 1937, in Nevada, IN, the son of the late Eugene W. & Vera (Coverdale) Langley. 
Larry was a 1955 graduate of Eastern High School. He was a retired farmer, and had also worked for Shepard Tool & Die, and Essex Wire Company in Elwood.

Amber Watson
Amber Nicole Watson, 29, passed away at 5:04 am Sunday September 17, 2017, in Kokomo. She was born April 8, 1988, in Kokomo, the daughter of Stoney & Mary Christine “Chris” (Phifer) Watson. 
Amber was a 2006 graduate of Western High School. She went on to receive her CNA certification from Ivy Tech Community College and was enrolled in Indiana University at Kokomo where she was working towards her nursing degree. Amber was employed with Aperion Health Care in Kokomo, as a CNA.

James Hollingsworth
James Hollingsworth, 58, Kokomo, passed away at 11:48 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2017 at his home. He was born August 24, 1959 in Clovis, New Mexico to Marquis Dean and Delvigne (McKibben) Hollingsworth.
A 1977 Western High School Graduate, James went on to attend Ball State before graduating from Indiana University in 1992 with an associate’s degree. James served his country as a military policeman in the United States army from 1977 until 1980. James worked for many years as a drywall contractor and was a member of Brookside Free Methodist Church.

Edward Carpenter
Edward “Ed” Carpenter, 81, of Kokomo passed away Friday, September 15th. He was born April 16, 1936 to Lester and Elsie (Mattox) Carpenter.
Ed married his wife, Marty (Harmon) on October 30, 1954. He worked as a toolmaker at Delco Electronics and retired from there as a General Supervisor after 27 years.

Steven Baldwin
Steven Walter Baldwin, 61, formerly of Kokomo, now resting in heavenly peace and harmony, passed on Friday September 15, 2017.
He was born on November 13, 1955 to Walter and Vera (Williams) Baldwin in Logansport. 
A 1974 Haworth High School graduate, he taught history and retired from Kokomo Center Township school system. In July of 1978, He married Susan Lawson, who preceded him in death.
