Dozens arrested through ‘Operation Fastlane’

Drug Task Force conducted around 70 controlled buy investigations over five months

Two dozen people were arrested, and warrants were issued for several more during a five-month operation dubbed “Operation Fastlane.”

The operation was conducted by Kokomo Police Department’s drug task force beginning last May, and the force completed approximately 70 controlled buy investigations. As a result, 77 felony charges were filed with the Howard County Prosecutor’s office. Charges included maintaining a common nuisance, dealing methamphetamine, dealing a narcotic drug, dealing a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of syringe.

Investigators seized the following narcotics:

349.42 grams of methamphetamine

13.23 grams of heroin

2 grams of cocaine

25.5 grams of controlled substances

The following individuals (all of Kokomo, unless specified) have been arrested as a result of this operation:

The following individuals have warrants as a result of this investigation but have not been arrested presently. Investigators are attempting to locate the following five defendants on the warrants that resulted from this investigation:

  • Dealing in a Schedule III Controlled Substance

These cases remain active for investigation.
