Acacia Harvest Celebration

Acacia Academy continues to celebrate the gifts of truth, beauty, and goodness with a Harvest Celebration. Classical education comes to life as we share stories and adventures of the lessons we have learned this year. Please join us at Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Acacia Academy located at 830 S. Main St. Admission is free, and all are welcome.

Noon Kiwanis Meeting

The Kokomo Noon Kiwanis Club’s weekly speaker will be Greg Aaron from the Community Foundation of Howard County on Nov. 7. Kiwanis meets every Thursday at the Kokomo Country Club. Social time is from 11:30 to 12 p.m., and the meeting is from 12 to 1 p.m.

Medicare Counseling

Samaritan Caregivers and State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) is having a Medicare counseling and education session on Nov. 7 from 12:30 to 4 p.m. at First Christian Church, 854 N. 300 W. Counseling is provided at no cost, and SHIP counselors do not sell or endorse any insurance. They can provide an objective view of all Medicare options. Simply bring a Medicare card and list of medications.

Garden Wall Club

The public is invited Garden Wall Garden Club meeting at south branch of Kokomo-Howard County Public Library, 1755 E. Center Road, on Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. Mathias Ingle will speak about the Howard County Extension office. Gardeners will be interested in what he has to share. Refreshments provided, but bring your own beverage.
