Social Security Seminar

One of the most important decisions you’ll ever make is how and when you file for Social Security benefits. Come to the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library for the Social Security Seminar at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, at KHCPL Main, where we’ll address the most frequently asked questions, the basics of filing, and how to coordinate it with other sources of retirement income. Presented by Brian Harris from WestPoint Financial Group.

Love Ancestry.com, but not the cost? You can use the Ancestry Library Edition free at the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library. Join us for the Genealogy Short Class: Ancestry Library Edition, from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, at KHCPL Main, to learn how to use it.

Kokomo Noon Kiwanis Meeting

The Kokomo Noon Kiwanis Club’s weekly speaker will be Mike Wyatt, who will share the history and stories about We Care. Kiwanis meets every Thursday at Golden Corral on South 931. Social time is 11:30 to 12 p.m., and the meeting is from 12 to 1 p.m. Everyone is welcome. For further information, call President Nita Campbell at 765-437-2187.

KHS Class of ’63 Meeting

The KHS Class of 1963 will have its monthly meeting at Martino's Italian Restaurant on Aug 22 at 4 p.m. Please come and join for a fun evening of food and good friends. Spouses are welcome as well.
