Northview Church is excited to announce it has adopted Oakbrook Church to merge as one unified church. Northview Church and Oakbrook Church believe that, together, they can make a bigger impact in the communities they serve.

Northview Church opened its Kokomo Campus on Easter 2019. Oakbrook Church planted it roots in

Kokomo in 1985, with its Flora location joining the Oakbrook family in 2015 and the Peru location launching in 2018. The three Oakbrook locations in Kokomo, Peru and Flora are part of the adoption and have been named as Northview locations.

Northview’s Kokomo location on East Markland Avenue is moving into the Oakbrook location on CR S. 200 W., with a grand opening scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 20. Grand-opening events at the new location include church services at 9 & 11 a.m., followed by a Fall For Kokomo Fest from 4-7 p.m. on the 80 acres of property.

“The new, larger building will give us more capacity to reach a lot more people in our city,” said Northview’s Kokomo Campus Pastor Joe Smith. “The new building is located on more 80 acres, which will give us the opportunity to invite our community onto our property with a cross country course, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, a disc golf course, Springhill day camp in the summer and many more ideas. I think this will offer us what we need to make the biggest difference on the 60,000+ people within our community.”
